With iOS 15, Apple has added many new features to AirPods, AirPods Pro, and AirPods Max, today we are going to know about them.
The first feature is Special Audio - this feature was released by Apple some time ago in the Apple Music app.
You can select this feature by going to the Browse option of Apple's Music app, but at the moment this feature is yet to come in some countries.
You also get to see the option of Dolby Atmos in special audio.
Special Audio is now available on iOS 14.6 and newer in some countries.
When you use special audio, it adjusts the sound according to your movement. (like turning the head to the right and left)
Spatialize Stereo has been added for AirPods on iOS 15.
Announce with Siri - Siri now has the ability to Announce Notifications on AirPods 2, AirPods Pro, AirPods Max, and some Beats Headphones.
New Background Sounds - You can also control the media volume with this option and along with that you get more sound options like Balanced Noise, Bright Noise, Dark Noise, Ocean, Rain, and Stream. (These options added with iOS 15 to AirPods)
Boost Conversation Sound - Conversation Boost is coming to iOS 15 and AirPods Pro to help limit background noise and boost the voice of the person in front of you.
AirPods Alerts - Just like you can find air tags from your iPhone, you will also be able to find your AirPods from your iPhone as well and if you leave your AirPods somewhere(like a restaurant, hotel, school, etc) then you will get to see the notification on your iPhone.
AirPods Pro and AirPods Max gain Proximity alerts and left-behind alerts in Find My app.
If you don't want any alerts then you can turn off this feature.
Automatic Switching - Automatic Switching has been improved and will work on Apple TV when iOS 15 releases.
Expect iOS 15, iPadOS 15, tvOS 15, macOS Monterey, and AirPods updates to release in late September.
