How to Delete Browser History in Safari (Ft. iPhone, iPad and Mac)

Sometimes some website does not open properly in our device and for that, we may have to delete the history data of Safari browser.

The Safari browser runs on macOS, iOS, and iPadOS, and so the process of deleting history may differ from device to device. Today we will tell you about all those procedures.


How to delete Safari history on macOS?

  1. Open safari 
  2. Click on the History option
  3. Now click on clear history
  4. There are some option to delete the history (today, today and yesterday, all history)

(Note - your auto-complete might not work after deleting all history so be careful about that)

How to delete Safari history on iOS and iPadOS?

  1. Open Settings
  2. Now search safari and open
  3. Now search for clear history and clear website data
  4. If you click on the Clear History button, the website's data and cookies will be deleted.
(Note - Any username and password saved on your device will not be deleted by clearing history)
