Apple Update (1st week of august 2021)

• The Titanium Apple Watch is showing out of stock at many apple stores. (so it looks like Apple is discontinuing this or getting ready for a newer version.)
• The updated version of apple maps is now being tested in Italy.
• Apple is now accepting UPI Rupay cards and net banking for app store payments in India.
• Apple also released watchOS 7.6.1 last week. (It's a Security update)
• New Music has been added to GarageBand on iOS and iPadOS.
• Google Maps has a New Widget on iOS. (it opens quickly and works well)
• Apple has said if you replace a battery in and AirTag to not use batteries with coatings on them.
• Sales of iPhones brought in 39.6 billion dollars during its last quarter with it being the largest Q3 upgrade cycle ever.
• iOS 14 Beta Worldwide Release Dates - iOS 14 Beta 4 will release on August 4th, iOS 14 Beta 5 will release on 18th August, and iOS 14 Beta 6 will release on 25th August. (expected release dates)
• Apple stores have updated their docks where they display their iPhones. (source)
• iPhone 13 expected features - same design, new camera module, small notch, 120Hz display on pro models, A15 CPU, and better 5G support.
• TSMC is set to manufacture 2nm chips for Apple in 2004.
• Apple is still working on a folding iPhone that would release in 2 to 3 years.
• iPad Air 5th generation is said to look the same as iPad Air 4 but features a dual-camera setup.
• Some are starting iPad mini will look the same as it currently does, but others say it will look like iPad Air.
• AirPods 3 are said to be launching alongside iPhone 13 this fall.
• We could see a high-end Mac mini and iMac by the end of 2021.
