What's New in watchOS 8?

1. The always-on display now supports alarms, maps, stopwatch, and 3rd party apps
2. The watch face picker has been updated
3. A new portrait watch face will be available after watchOS 8 release
4. The Music App has been redesigned on watchOS 8
5. A new App has been added to watchOS 8 called Mindfulness which has Reflect and Breathe
6. The Sleep App can now track Respiratory Rate
7. iPhone and Watch can now measure walking steadiness
8. New Focus Mode
9. The Home app has been redesigned and has a dedicated camera section and suggestion
10. A new Find items app has been added to watchOS 8 to locate AirTags
11. watchOS 8 adds Pilates and Tai Chi to Workouts
12. There are new workouts and artist spotlights coming to Fitness + Later this month
13. Photos now have Memories, Featured, and Favorites, along with a new photo mosaic
14. You can now share photos with Messages and Massages and Mail from the Photos App
15. Now you can message using scribble, dictation, and emoji from the same interface
16. You can now add and search GIFs in Messages on the watch
17. watchOS 8 now supports severe weather notifications and next hour precipitation
18. Audio notifications can now keep track of audio levels in headphones in realtime
19. Assistive Touch has been added to Apple Watch with watchOS 8
20. watchOS 8 adds enhanced family setup
21. The school mode animation is different in watchOS 8
