How to download e - epic

Our country's Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad has launched e-EPIC (Electronic Electoral Photo Identity Card). Now we can get our election cards electronically.

What is e - epic card

The e-epic card will be a single pdf version which will be non-editable, so the e-epic card can be found only in pdf versions where no one can edit such pdf.

This e-epic card can be downloaded by all the citizens of the country and to avail of this facility, you have to register on the official website of the Election Commission. If you have already registered with the website, you can download your e-epic card.

You can connect your e-epic card with Digilocker.

Now let us tell you how you can download your e-epic card.

If you have already registered on the Election Commission's website, follow the steps below.

How to download e - EPIC (if you are a registered, user)

Step 1. Visit https://www.nvsp.in/

Step 2. Click on Login

Step 3. Fill in the username and password box.

Step 4. Then you log in to your dashboard. Now you can read the next process below.

If you have not registered on the Election Commission's website, follow the steps below.

How to download e - EPIC (if you are a new user)

Step 1. Visit https://www.nvsp.in/

Step 2. Click on the Register button

Step 3. After clicking on the register button you will be asked for the phone number and captcha code and then click on Sent OTP so your phone will get an OTP on the number which you have to enter in the box above.

Step 4. You will then be asked if you have Epic (Epic means Ascension Card). If you have Epic, select the first option. If not, select the second option. Then enter your email id and password.

Step 5. After doing the above, click on the Register button.

Step 6. After registering, go across the login screen, then enter the username and password.

Step 7. Now you go across your dashboard and from there select the downloaded e-EPIC option.

Step 8. Then a new window will open where you have to enter your election number and select your state. (If you do not have an EPIC number, then you have applied for an Election Card, then you can enter your form number and download your e-EPIC.) After that, you will get your e-EPIC.
