Moto G7 Review In 2020

Like the previous smartphone Moto G6 launched in this series of Motorola, it has a big display. Motorola has launched this mid-budget smartphone with the Waterdrop Notch feature. Motorola has also launched Moto One Power along with Moto G7. If you do not want to buy a Chinese smartphone of the budget range, then in this smartphone you get better camera features and performance. Moto G7 can be called the best smartphone in the budget range. I have used this smartphone a lot, after that, I have brought this crisp review for you guys.

Moto G7: Design and Display

From the second half of last year, many smartphone maker companies started reducing the bezel of their display. Be it a budget range or a flagship device, in every smartphone, you have been given a display with Waterdrop or Due Drop Notch feature. In most mid and budget-range smartphones launched this year, you get to see this dewdrop display. Motorola has also given a dewdrop or waterdrop display in this Moto G7. Because of which you do not have any problem streaming full view video online or offline. Talking about the size of its display, it has been given 6.2 inches (15.75cm). In this, you get an aspect ratio of 19: 9, which is considered best for widescreen viewing. It has a full HD Plus Max Vision screen which gives a better experience in movies and gaming.

Talking about the design of the phone, its design has also been quite slick. Corning Gorilla Glass 3D protection has been given in its front and back panels, which is scratch-resistant. Along with this, it is also a water repellent. The grip of the phone is much better, it easily fits in your hand. The SIM card and memory slot are given on the top side of the phone. It has two 4G Nano SIMs and a dedicated memory card slot. The weight of the phone is 172 grams and it is 157 x 75.3 x 8 mm when it comes to dimensions. The phone is available in two color options Ceramic Black and Clear White.

Moto G7: performance

Talking about the performance of the Moto G7, it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 processor. The processor speed is 1.8 GHz which supports the Octacore CPU and Adreno 506 GPU. The phone comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It has a dedicated memory card slot, due to which you can increase its memory up to 512GB via an external SD card. That is, you can store at least 500 movies. The stock Android 9 Pie operating system has been given to the phone. The phone supports face unlock, fingerprint scanners.

You will find the fingerprint sensor in the back of the phone. Its fingerprint sensor is quite quick to respond. The device is unlocked as soon as you touch the sensor. Also, the Face Unlock feature works better. The phone has a strong 3,000 mAh lithium-ion non-removable battery. The battery backup of the phone is quite good, if you use normal, it gives you a backup of at least two days on a single charge. After using data and calling continuously, it gives you a backup of 8 to 9 hours. The phone has a USB-C Type 15W Turbo Power Charger.

Moto G7: rear camera features

Talking about the camera features of Moto G7, a 12 + 5-megapixel dual rear camera setup has been given in its back. The design of the rear camera is quite unique. Both these lenses have been fitted with a spherical parallel. In this sphere, the LED flash is given at the bottom. Talking about the primary 12-megapixel camera of the phone, its aperture has been given f1.8. The secondary camera of the phone is a 5-megapixel depth sensor. With the rear camera of the phone, you can take better pictures in low light too. Especially when zooming, the pixels of the picture do not burst. Phase detection autofocus technology has been used in the rear camera. Talking about shooting video from the rear camera, you can shoot 4K video of 2160 pixels i.e. 30fps speed.

Moto G7: Selfie Camera Features

Talking about the selfie camera of Moto G7, it has an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The selfie camera's aperture is 1.12um pixels. The screen flash has been given in the front panel of the phone. In this, you will find features such as Auto HDR, Timer, Face Beauty, Auto Smile Capture, Protect Mode, Cinematograph, Group Selfie, Spot Color. In the front camera, you can shoot HD videos of 1080 pixels. Apart from this, it also supports slow-motion video.

One can buy Moto G7 in India for Rs 16,999. Talking about its other features, for connectivity it has features like 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11. It has a Google Assistant for voice control. Also, it supports Google Lens, in which you can scan any image and get information about it.

After using the Moto G7 for a few days, I found it a better phone. The camera and performance of the phone are much better. While playing games like PUBG, Need for Speed, I did not face any lagging and heating issues. You will watch the video continuously for 3-4 hours on the phone, even then you will not get complaints about the phone getting hot. Apart from this, features such as Auto Brightness and Night Mode have been provided in the phone, which does not let your eyes stance.
